Through targeted discussions\, practical exercises\, and workshopping with peers\, you will learn how to identify and succinctly describe the essential elements of a screenplay. Taking the next step\, you will learn how to shape those elements into a compelling\, pitch-ready logline.  Whether you are starting a fresh draft or refining an existing screenplay\, you will walk away with more clarity on your narrative and a compelling pitch for your film. \nParticipants are encouraged to arrive with at least a basic idea for a screenplay. Bringing a laptop is encouraged but not required.
